Ms. Theresa M Nygren

It takes a tremendous amount of courage to enter therapy. My intention is to offer a treatment approach that compassionately matches your unique needs. Together we mindfully study the issues and concerns in a safe and supportive environment. As the process of therapy unfolds, you would come away with new skills and insight to face the challenges of your life. My belief in the capacity for wholeness and healing helps you hold on to hope while you peel away the layers to uncover your authentic self. If you are worn out from old ways of coping, call me today. I have 30 plus years of experience in working with adults and groups. My expertise includes issues around grief/loss, substance abuse, life transitions, depression/anxiety, trauma and compulsive overeating. My background includes Gestalt training, Cognitive- Behavioral group facilitation, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Trauma Training, Mindfulness- Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness Based Self-Compassion training. Sliding fee available. Farmington office has easy access to Route 4, 9, 10 and Route 84.
