Taking a warm, direct, and nonjudgmental approach, my goal is to help people create change and find acceptance in various areas of their lives. As a clinical psychologist, I specialize in the assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, trauma (PTSD), and Borderline Personality. If you are experiencing problems with mood, social anxiety, panic, self esteem issues, eating or body image concerns, relationship conflicts, or symptoms related to childhood abuse or other forms of trauma, I can help. I am trained to work with children, adolescents, and adults. My office is conveniently located in Fort Lauderdale. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for anxiety and depression, as well as Exposure and Response Prevention, which is a specialized therapy for OCD. I also use elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Contextual Therapy for trauma. My style is very collaborative and I view the therapeutic relationship as an important component of treatment. My goal is to help you identify patterns and behaviors that are keeping you stuck so you live well and feel better.
