If you are living and struggling with the pain of drug and/or alcohol dependence, then you may have experienced a broken spirit which can lead to feelings of hopelessness. I do not believe this disease is hopeless. I will work with you in a safe, confidential and supportive environment to bring about change and establish goals that you believe are achieveable in your individual journey towards recovery and wellness. I have been employed in the field of substance abuse for over thirteen years. I am a Licensed and Certified Addiction Counselor, a Certified Co-occurring Disorders Professional and I am certified as a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) under the United States Department of Transportation (DOT). I encourage spirituality and creativity as an integral part of recovery while the client works towards self acceptance. I work collaboratively with probation and parole officers, DCF, DOT, medical and mental health providers if mandated or at client's request. Client's confidentiality is strictly adherred to.
