I believe people seek out therapy because they wish to change. My role is to facilitate that change. With that in mind I tend to be very direct and challenging. I use a very experiential approach to therapy. I appreciate clients that are thoughtful and willing to put in the work it takes to successfully improve their lives. I welcome individuals, couples, families and alternative relationship structures. While I work with a wide variety of common issues, I have two specific areas of focus - alternative sexuality (such as kinks, fetishes, power dynamic relationships,and polyamory) and alternative spirituality. My goal is to provide a safe and accepting environment to work within the context of personal lifestyle choices. I use a systemic, strength-based approach. I believe that therapy is a very personal and private process. For those, and other, reasons I do not accept insurance payments. I prefer that therapy be a process driven by your needs, not by an arbitrary determination of what is allowed.
