I work with adults as individuals or in relationships. The realities of life in this millennium lead to stressors that effectively separate us from one another and even from our deeper selves. While therapy can address areas considered to be problem solving the deeper work is interior and focuses on self-knowledge and assertiveness as well as clarifying perspectives on life that make healthy and genuine connection more possible. Other areas of specialty include: Supervision of other therapists and those seeking licensure; Pre-Marital counseling; support of family members where there are addiction and recovery issues; and Spiritual Direction. At the Emmanuel Center we are able to address spiritual and religious issues. We consider ourselves to be spiritually multilingual - familiar with and respectful of all major traditions as they lead to healing and wholeness. Contemplative practices are explored and considered to be supportive to the inner work of healing individuals and relationships
