The most important feature of successful counseling and therapy is the relationship you form with the therapist you choose. It is imperative that you find someone you feel understands your areas of concern and with whom you can work to reach your goals. Therapy is a very personal experience. What works for one individual may not necessarily work well for another. I focus on you, the client, address your personal concerns, life experiences, and goals, and tailor therapy to meet your needs. I have worked extensively with military members and their families, helping to address issues that arise due to additional stress from deployments. I work with families in crisis, victims of abuse, adolescents and children struggling with academic and non-academic issues, couples, and adults making life transitions.
