I have worked in the counseling field for 20 years, in agency, educational, and private practice settings. My treatment focus includes addictions (alcohol, drugs, sex & love), childhood abuse,trauma, and grief. In working with clients, I view my "role" as helping to facilitate each person's unique journey to living authentically. In addition to traditional talk therapy, I offer Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy on an hourly/weekly basis, as well as intensives.(www.equineexplorations.com). Sessions and workshops can be designed for recovering adults, women facing change, and couples. I believe that holding a passion for something that calls forth our creativity and commitment helps keep us healthy and excited about life. In addition to working with people in my practice, my other passion is working with and riding my horses.
