Clients who see me for therapy can expect to find warmth, humor, and genuineness in an often difficult process. I enjoy working with clients presenting with a variety of life situations and stressors. I find joy in helping clients to identify their own solutions, build on existing strengths, and develop insight, skills, and self-awareness to manage or eliminate these stressors. It is important to me that my clients feel empowered to make positive changes for themselves to enhance their quality of life and overall wellbeing. It is also important to me that treatment is effective, and therefore practice primarily within modalities that are evidence-based (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Brief Solution-Focused Treatment). This being said, each client's treatment is tailored to their individual needs and goals, in a collaborative process.
