Specialized Programs for Teenagers For 2 decades Another Chance Counseling Center has been specializing in helping Teenagers and their families for whom drugs and/or alcohol has become a problem in their lives. Our outpatient groups and individual sessions are tailored to the individual needs of the client. Everyone is always treated with caring and respect to create a nurturing environment. Founded in 1994, Another Chance is the Central Florida leader in teen substance abuse treatment. Teen Program Description Our Teen Group is a unique opportunity for Teens to recover from substance abuse, meet clean and sober friends and for family members to have a safe place to come to for support. Teenagers that are substance abusers face extreme problems of peer pressure in school and in their neighborhoods. We teach them to understand the consequences of their actions and to develop skills to say "No" to peer pressure. We promote development of healthy friendships and other interests outside of using substances. Group Meetings are twice weekly, Tuesday and Thursday Evening 6-8pm. Individual counseling sessions are scheduled monthly. Multi-Family Group meets the last thursday of every month. Call Liz Bay at our office to schedule an initial evaluation. Florida Safety Council DUI Counseling Program Another Chance Counseling Center is a contracted treatment provider with the Florida Safety Council to provide counseling for people who have had a DUI offense. We offer affordable group sessions Monday & Wednesday evening, Thursday morning and Saturday morning. Individual sessions are available by appointment Monday - Friday.
