Jarica has worked with children ages 5-19 and their families in both a school and intensive home-based setting. Jarica believes that the best progress is made for clients when they, along with their support system, are able to come together and work collaboratively towards wellness. Jarica prefers to involve families, caregivers, school communities and community providers in treatment as is appropriate. Jarica offers flexible scheduling and home visits with some insurances. Jarica has worked with adult clients in a partial hospitalization environment and is in the process of expanding her practice to begin working more with adults. Jarica has experience working with children and teens struggling with oppositional and defiance issues, anger management, relationship and family conflicts, anxiety, depression, attentional, hyperactive and impulsive challenges as well as parenting challenges. Jarica provides treatment within the lense of cognitive behavioral, child centered play, motivational interviewing, behavioral modification, structural family and narrative therapies, among others. Jarica is action-oriented and goal focused in her treatment. She will work with clients to establish a clear vision of their goals and support them in reaching their goals in a comprehensive way, moving at a pace that works best for them.
