I've learned that people have a sense that their lives could be much better and believe this is God-given. I also believe God helps in healing, especially of the heart and relationships. Mental and emotional help through therapy is like medical healing. In therapy you and I explore what is and is not working in your life. We look into your life to discover how you became wounded and discouraged and we begin to fashion a treatment plan. Therapy has changed incredibly in recent years and we now have the ability to rework negative impacts from the past. I also enjoy Couples' Therapy. Through new techniques, couples can be successful in problem-solving and communication, even in the first therapy session. These improvements can take place if only one of the partners chooses therapy. I use EMDR in my practice. EMDR is well know for success in healing trauma, childhood sexual abuse, anxiety/panic attacks, etc. I have also found EMDR to be very effective and helpful technique for ALL types of therapeutic issues
