My ideal clients are individuals who want to gain control of their life and who want to move beyond existing to living and enjoying life. I work primarily with adults addressing a variety of issues: marital problems, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, parenting, sexual abuse, anger management, stress management, posttraumatic stress disorder, dissociative disorders, adult children of alcoholic/dysfunctional family survivors, codependency, and other life concerns. I have extensive experience in working with adults who grew up in dysfunctional families and adult survivors of sexual abuse. I grew up in a dysfunctional alcoholic family system where there was a lot of physical and verbal abuse. I am a recovering alcoholic with 18 years of sobriety. I enjoy working with recovering people. I know what it takes to change and I believe change is possible for you. My practice has ground floor access with free public parking nearby. I have evening and Saturday hours available.
