Taking the first step and asking for help is often difficult, but sometimes necessary to create the changes we are wanting to make in our lives. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) who has a passion for helping individuals explore ways to overcome cognitive and behavioral challenges. I have worked in the field for 16 years and continue to see the wonderful benefits of therapy. Clients present to me with a variety of concerns; relationship issues, conflict, anxiety, anger, depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), sexual and physical abuse, parenting and transitions to name a few. My approach is to thoroughly assess the needs of the clients and collaboratively craft an individual plan to assist with the identified need. Children have a difficult time coping with life's difficulties. The healing process when working with children includes the child and parent(s) to strengthen the child-parent relationship.
