My approach to psychotherapy is based on the principle that you are worthwhile and whole. I assist you in developing insights and skills to improve your quality of life and relationships. We work collaboratively to develop a treatment approach that will work for you. I work with adults, focusing on trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, behavior change and relationships. I have training in DBT, EMDR, Solution Focused Based Therapy and Emotionally Focused Yoga Therapy. I have worked in a number of settings since 2007. Including mental health centers, community clinics and groups homes. I have worked with individuals and their families suffering with mental illness. I helped them live as independently as possible by finding ways to manage their symptoms. My passion is helping my clients figure out what will be effective and healthy for them in this moment; all the while considering future goals. I will meet you with an open mind, empathy and compassion.
