I believe in aligning myself with a client and forming a genuine relationship based on respect. I will focus on your strengths and what is working in your life now. We will then explore together the options before you as you cope with life transitions, depression, anxiety, relationship issues or addictions. My focus will be to help you solve problems, to think carefully about your life and the choices you face and provide you with a sounding board as you evaluate your options for change. I have worked as a therapist for over 10 years. My approach draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Training. I have both professional and life experience in dealing with care-giving issues, especially with cancer, Alzheimer's disease and serious mental illness. I obtained a BA from Stanford University, a Master's Degree from the Yale School of Organization and Management and an MSW from the UALR Graduate School of Social Work.
