I am a psychologist, with expertise in NLP, gestalt therapy, Ericksonian apporaches to therapy and hypnosis, sport psychology and performance enhancement. I do general psychotherapy, plus work that focuses on stress management and performance enhancement. As a tennis player, I have represented the U.S. in international competition, and won national and world doubles titles. I have worked extensively with athletes and musicians. I also worked for many years with college students. My background (attended music high school in New York City; background in sports), training (NLP, Gestalt, Ericksonian approaches), and experience (working with college students, adults, athletes and musicians - I teach music performance enhancement seminars at Ohio State University; numerous mental skills training workshops)helps working with stress and performance issues. My own experience as a therapist for many years, and my focus on performance and stress management issues, enables me to help people develop some practical perspectives and skills for managing and improving their lives.
