I work with couples and individuals providing a safe place to explore issues, conflicts and struggles. During the many years I have been working with clients, I have seen my work evolve to include many approaches to help people who are suffering, struggling with major life decisions, problems in relationships, transitions, illness, grief and death. Often, unsuccessful patterns in relationships are causing or contributing to feelings of despair, increased anxiety/depression or feelings of helplessness. Together we find a way through these challenges using many tools that have been shown to be effective and long lasting. I work with adults and couples using a variety of approaches to help untangle the issues my clients face. My academic training focused on psychodynamic, family systems and women's psychology. Over the last several years, I have received certificates in training from the Harvard Mind Body program and have integrated Buddhist principles, mindfulness and meditation into my practice.
