Thanks for considering my practice. As a counselor/ therapist/teacher for 30 years, I have worked successfully with adults, teens, children, couples and families dealing with life challenges, depression, anxiety, grief, abuse, trauma, relationship issues, blending families, DV, and disabilities. Like most clients, you'll probably have questions and feel skeptical. From childhood we're told to be cautious of strangers and keep secrets to ourselves. When problems arise, someone recommends counseling - meeting with a stranger to share feelings and fears. How strange. I utilize relaxation, play therapy, and EMDR to help clients determine triggers and move from reliving traumatic events to reprocessing, remembering, and moving beyond difficult moments.
