I have over 12 years of experience working in the mental health field. I enjoy helping adults explore work and life balance, self-esteem issues, and promoting healthy relationships. I have worked in child and adolescent programs helping youth with self-esteem building while working together with their parents to empower them to make good choices. I have experience teaching effective communication with facilitating premarital/marriage workshops and parenting classes. My past clinical training includes working in outpatient and inpatient settings treating youth and adults with depression, drug and alcohol addiction, trauma, military families/veterans, and postpartum depression. I received a Master of Science degree in Community Counseling from Columbus State University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Spelman College.
