Throughout the past 6 years I have specialized in helping children and adolescents who have been subject to the Department of Children and Families. I have worked with clients affected by Depression, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, Abandonment issues, difficulties in school, behavioral problems (i.e. defiant, ODD, violent, gang membership), ADHD, and peer relationship difficulties. My clients were not only children, but their immediate family as well. I have a strong passion to work with children and adolescents who need help to succeed in life. I am fiercely committed to healing the person as a whole by understanding all of their symptoms. Meeting a client where they are at emotionally is a prime factor in being a successful therapist. I believe that building a strong rapport will facilitate honesty, which in turn makes for a successful client-therapist relationship.
