I am a bilingual (Spanish) therapist who specializes in working with children and families. I offer both in-office and in-home counseling because I recognize that many kids feel more comfortable in their own home than in a therapist's office. Considering the fact that I will only be involved with a family for a relatively short period of time, I use a family systems approach to therapy and I teach parents how to become therapeutic to their children. I charge $90 for an in-office 50-minute visits and $120 for an 80-minute in-home session. I have specialized training in early childhood mental health issues including tantrums, feeding issues, defiance, anger, and anxiety. I specialize in working with foster and adoptive parents who have kids with severe behavioral problems. I also work with kids who struggle with ADHD symptoms and self-regulation problems. In-home counseling sessions run 80 minutes and the cost is $120. Single mothers get discounted rates: $70 in-office & $100 in-home.
