By offering varying of levels of care and a myriad of therapeutic programming options that are tailored to meet each patient's unique set of needs, the caring and compassionate staff at Sonora Behavioral Health is devoted to ensuring that each patient who comes to us for care is provided with the most comprehensive treatment available. Our mission at Sonora is to provide a level of care that we, ourselves, would want for our own family members; we strive to treat people in the exact way that we wish to be treated. By keeping this mission at the forefront of the treatment we provide, all patients who are entrusted into our care can rest assured that they will receive the most holistic, most caring, and most thorough treatment possible, regardless of what their needs or concerns may be. Programs and Levels of Care at Sonora The programs and services offered at Sonora Behavioral Health are vast and are designed to meet the individual needs of each population of patients that we serve. Our inpatient psychiatric treatment program for children and adolescents offers youth under the age of 18 a safe and secure setting where they can stabilize while beginning to fully engage in the therapeutic process. Our inpatient psychiatric treatment program for adults over the age of 18 provides individuals with short-term, intensive treatment so that they can stabilize and move down to a less restrictive level of care in the fastest amount of time possible. Our intensive outpatient programs (IOP) consist of 9-12 hours of group therapy per week and, while the length of treatment is individualized to meet the needs of each patient, the typical IOP stay lasts for about 8-12 weeks. Our BRAVEST Program is specially designed for active-duty military servicemen and women and their families who are faced with the challenges of healing from the traumas that they have experienced, as well as dealing with other concerns that are unique to this population. Admissions Process at Sonora At Sonora Behavioral Health, we recognize that seeking treatment for yourself or a loved one is one of the most important decisions that one may make in his or her lifetime. We also understand that it can be an extremely confusing and intimidating time as well. For this reason, we aim to make our admissions process one that is as thorough and as efficient as possible. Our professional staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to answer questions that one may have, as well as to perform the initial screenings for prospective patients.
