I can appreciate the challenges of juggling the responsibilities of home, family, and work/school. At times things can get out of balance. Working with me will provide you with an opportunity to get some perspective on what changes you would like to make in your life. I have worked extensively with parents and children, adolescents and adults. In addition, I am a certified Bereavement Counselor. It's important to remember that the grief process is unique to each person. Well-intentioned friends and family may not offer the support you need. I can help you navigate through loss, whether it is recent or was in the past. I have also worked in the field of foster care and adoption for 15 years. Issues of bonding, attachment, and loss are often present in these "blended families." These parents and children have unique needs that extend beyond those experienced by most families.
