I am a licensed clinical psychologist. I completed my undergraduate studies at Florida International University and received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. My mission as a psychologist is to provide children, adolescents, and families with a safe and supportive environment to cope with life's challenges. I believe the most productive therapy environment is one of mutual trust, respect, and collaboration. My approach is challenging and direct yet compassionate and caring. I specialize in the assessment and treatment of psychological disorders in children and adolescents, including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, depression, anxiety, and conduct problems. I have worked with children, families and adults within the school system, police department, community mental health center, and hospital settings. While my expertise involves working within the pediatric population, my education, training, and professional experience allow me to provide services to a wide range of individuals, from children to adults. Services provided include: play therapy, traditional talk therapy, parent training and psychological testing (gifted evaluations, learning disability and behavioral assessments).
