Counseling provides the opportunity to take an honest look at one's life and find a path to a more fulfilling and meaningful existence. It is a process that is difficult and daunting at times, but it can also have great rewards. I help people through this process by providing a safe, non-judgmental space to explore their struggles and issues. I believe that we all have an extraordinary ability to change, grow, and persevere, but we sometimes need help from others to see our full potential. My favorite part of being a counselor is helping others to realize their full potential. I feel it is important to explore the variety of factors that influence our lives and struggles. Counseling is a collaborative process where I work together with clients to find solutions that best fit their needs. I also incorporate art and expressive therapy techniques into sessions for clients who enjoy an alternative to talk therapy. I am currently a resident in counseling under the supervision of Tracie Ferguson, LPC.
