You are a unique and special individual and you do deserve all the good that life has to offer. You don't have to achieve it or carry your burden by yourself. With compassionate support and patience I assist my clients to cultivate "self love",greater confidence and self-esteem, richer relationships with partners and children, and more emotional balance and health. Our therapy process will involve accepting thoughts and feelings without judgment rather than trying to push them out of consciousness. Together we can make it a priority to motivate you to become sensitive of "your own" needs and distress, and to extend warmth/understanding towards yourself. With compassion focused therapy you will decrease high levels of shame and self-criticism as well as improve low mood and depressive symptoms. Each session is 50 minutes and as with anything,consistency increases the effectiveness of the therapeutic process.If you are seeking treatment for psychological problems, or if you are faced with circumstances that have led you to think about speaking with a therapist, I would be happy to speak with you, personally.
