Heeren Family Therapy offers counseling for all age groups. We are fully licensed mental health professionals, each with over 30 years of clinical experience. We use treatment techniques uniquely tailored to meet the needs of our clients. Our goal is to offer a confidential, safe, and nurturing environment where clients take an active role in their own treatment. Through the therapeutic process, we help clients gain an intellectual and emotional understanding of their issues so they are empowered to make healthy choices toward wellness. We have a holistic philosophy and will help with referrals to appropriate community resources as needed. Allison Heeren LMSW provides individual, couples and family therapy for a broad spectrum of issues, including expertise in marital therapy, women's issues, eating disorders, chronic illness, grief and loss, and infertility. Roy Heeren, LMSW works as a crisis therapist at Centra Wellness Center in Benzonia, while also maintaining a part time private therapy practice. He treats a wide variety of client issues and has extensive expertise in treating anxiety and depression, trauma, men's issues, child play therapy and adolescent issues.
