Behavioral Health Care for Children and Teens Rogers Behavioral Health uses a multi-modal treatment approach to deliver sensitive, age-specific intensive psychiatric care for children and teens dealing with a broad spectrum of mental health issues. Located on pristine, lakeside property in southeastern Wisconsin, The Child & Adolescent Centers at Rogers are among only a few treatment centers in the country offering intensive cognitive-behavioral therapy for these ages. Guided by Rogers' full-time, board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists, patients receive an in-depth evaluation, intensive psychiatry and medication management, along with a full range of individual, group and family therapy, as well as educational services. Ages 8+ can receive residential programming at these centers to develop important life skills, develop techniques to manage emotions, and build the foundation to overcome future challenges. Rogers provides year-round treatment for anxiety disorders and school refusal, avoidance or attendance issues, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), OC-spectrum disorders, trichotillomania, Tourette syndrome and other tic disorders, mood disorders (depression and bipolar disorder), ADHD, disordered eating, behavioral and family issues, trauma, multiple and complex cases and alcohol and substance use for teens. School liaisons work closely with schools and assist with a child's transition back into life outside of Rogers. Who We Treat We provide evidence-based treatment for children and teens, ages 4-17 through our day treatment, partial and inpatient programs. For those in need of residential treatment, the Child Center and the Adolescent Center are two nationally recognized treatment centers which provide a unique blend of adventure-based experiences in Wisconsin's scenic woodlands and psychiatric excellence with strong family involvement. Rogers also provides day treatment programs for teens with emotional and/or behavioral problems, as well as for children and teens who have experienced trauma. Partial hospitalization programs are available for adolescents affected by eating disorders and/or anxiety or dual diagnosis. Inpatient hospitalization is offered at our Brown Deer, West Allis and Oconomowoc locations for individuals requiring comprehensive short-term crisis stabilization.
