I am Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who works with children, adolescents and adults in need of psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapies. For families searching for psychiatric mental health care for their children and adolescents with affective mood, anxiety, behavioral, depression, eating and elimination issues, etc., please note that psychotropic medications (including stimulants) do not have to be the first and only tool you reach for. You would choose me as a clinician, if you and your family understand that there is no "magic pill" and that mental health is labor intensive but infinitely worth it! I utilize the Family Systems model. Treatments can include holistic care with complementary and alternative medicine, psychotherapy, traditional medications, micronutrient & genetic testing. Pharmacogenetic testing examines DNA markers and provides a concrete treatment guide for psychopharmacological decision-making. All private insurance accepted for the testing and the co-pay is waived. I am sensitive to the needs of diverse and multicultural identities. I speak Spanish and French. I currently only accept cash, check, MC and Visa payments. I will, however, provide you with the documentation needed to seek reimbursement from your insurance company.
