Hello, I'm Kathy and I am a fully licensed professional counselor in Michigan. My specialty is anxiety and depression but I also enjoy work with individuals experiencing transitional issues. I offer counseling for clients from preteen through adulthood and work with individuals, groups, and families. I am an eclectic counselor using different types of therapies including traditional and equine-assisted therapy. I am also able to do evaluation and assessments for anxiety, depression and substance abuse. I I provide therapy in the areas of school-issues, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, relationship development and transitional issues. Developing relationships and supporting others in their quest to understand and resolve issues that have a negative impact on their lives is my passion. I will support you throughout the process. I can assist you in defining and understanding issues that are of concern in your life through the counseling process. Using the tools of introspection, experience and metaphor, we will understand how these issues affect your life and work together to create an action plan to achieve the life envisioned.
