I am a licensed clinical therapist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families. I have a passion for helping children and their families feel better socially, emotionally, and behaviorally. I understand that having a struggling child is an entire family concern and I am committed to revitalizing a family's happiness. I have experience working with an array of presenting challenges including: ADHD, anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorders/Asperger's, behavioral problems, depression, grief/loss, learning disabilities, oppositional defiance, school problems, social skills, and trauma. Having experience in both mental health and school social work allows me to competently assess and treat children and adolescents. I understand how difficult it can be to be successful in school and at home and how to re-establish cohesive environments. I bring a unique perspective and knowledge about special education law and the IEP (individualized education plan) process.
