Help for Emotional, Behavioral and Relationship Problems. The Serenity Center is my independent private practice, located just off US31 between Charlevoix and Petoskey, and serving adults, children of all ages, couples and families in a quiet, emotionally safe and confidential setting. Utilizing an integrative blend of therapy orientations, I tailor treatment to each individual's unique needs. One size does NOT fit all. I am trained in children's treatment, including play therapy, as well as in adult issues, including substance abuse. A subspecialty is working with divorce or separation issues such as adjusting to change and loss, learning to co-parent effectively, supporting and minimizing damage to children, and preparing for stepfamily dynamics. I am often involved with court-related problems, for example, custody or parenting time recommendations. I am well-trained and highly experienced, having worked as a helping professional for thirty years, since 1987 as a psychotherapist.
