A call for therapy is placed because some area of life is just not working. As a psychologist, my focus is on assisting each individual, couple or family in working towards and reaching the goals that brought them in. Together, we identify the nature of the challenges being faced and work together to get life back on track. I practice as a family psychologist, working with whomever comes into my office. Each one of us is part of a bigger circle and thus the work also focuses on those with whom the person works or lives, as relevant. I have received extensive training over 16 years. I utilize a variety of therapeutic models, including Cognitive/Behavioral, Humanistic, Constructivist and Reality Therapy. Strengths include experience working with a wide variety of people and problems, focus on each person's world of existence, professionalism, ability to help others feel comfortable quickly. My focus is identifying what YOU want and working from there. While an expert in my field, I am not an expert in your life and thus cultivate a collaborative relationship with you. Christian-based counseling is available.
