I believe in treating people as the individuals they are. I try to tailor therapy sessions to meet the unique needs of each person regardless of age. I strive to protect the privacy of my clients while advocating for them when necessary. I also encourage my clients to explore with me what would be most helpful to them. I have a great deal of experience with a wide variety of ages and populations as well as an array of presenting problems. I greatly enjoy working with people and helping them grow and learn about themselves. I have a great deal of experience in working with children and adolescents, including infants and toddlers, and their presenting issues. I relate well to young people, but also feel parental or guardian involvement is vital for therapy to be successful. I am very comfortable working with people with developmental or physical disabilities, including children with special needs. My experience includes working with people with Down's Syndrome, Asperger's Syndrome, hearing impairment, visual impairment, and severe mental retardation to name a few. The person is who matters, not the diagnosis/disorder.
