I have an individualized, empathetic, and interactive approach to psychotherapy. I work with clients in crisis, coping with previous or on-going trauma, and those simply looking for direction. I work with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, eating disorders, self-harm, sexual, emotional and/or physical abuse, LGBT issues, PTSD and complex/developmental trauma. My approached is a theoretical blend of psychodynamic, humanistic, existential, and client-centered. I am interested and have further training in the neurological impact of emotional trauma. Additionally, I offer practical healing and self regulation techniques for anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and dissociation. I see adults and adolescents out of our clinic, KaraLee & Associates, in Plymouth, MI. We take most insurances.
