Thank you for taking the time to see if I may be the counselor for you. I view my role as one to help individuals navigate and work through concerns when they feel stuck. I provide an objective viewpoint to your concerns and offer tools to cope with the daily struggles life can bring. There is often times we feel like no one understands and as if hurt, anger, guilt, or shame consume us. My hope is to give individuals a safe, confidential place to explore concerns, identify possible solutions, and work towards healing. I have advanced training working with grief, loss, and trauma. Additionally, I work with kids, adolescents, families, couples and military veterans. As a mom of 5, and a past Parent Education presenter, I also enjoy working with parents on strengthening skills to deal with challenging kids and family issues. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) through the State of Michigan and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I am also a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA).
