Lauren takes pride in having been described as not being the "stereotypical" therapist. As a licensed therapist that treats both mental health related issues and/ or addiction, Lauren provides customized treatment depending on each client's individual needs. Some people feel uneasy seeing a therapist for the first time, and are concerned about being judged. Lauren uses a realistic "down to earth" approach, while prioritizing your comfort and right to be treated with respect. Treatment is based on collaborating with you on the goals that you choose. Lauren's areas of clinical specialty include treating mood disorders, anxiety (ex: panic, obsessive compulsive disorder), survivors of trauma and abuse, post traumatic stress disorder and anger problems.
