All of life's many stages have their ups and downs and the transitions can be difficult. Parenting, childhood, divorce, anxiety, depression, anger and disruptive behavior can all be loud and distracting. I believe that given the time, space and a little knowing support we can quiet the noise of living enough to hear our own wise voices regardless of our stage of life. The goal of my counseling practice is to provide that space, time, and support for children, parents and families as well as individuals struggling with life's transitions. As a Professional Counselor, Art Therapist, and Sandtray/Play Therapist, I have many tools in my arsenal to facilitate communication and expression, especially when talking is difficult. Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, and Behavior Modification Plans are combined with various expressive/creative therapies so there's an opportunity for everyone to actively participate in their growth.
