I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a passion for working with children from four to eighteen years of age, and their families. I have significant experience working with children who have experienced trauma and suffer ongoing anxiety. I also have extensive training working with a variety of difficulties including, but not limited to, ADHD, depression, parenting, family difficulties including loss or divorce, identity issues, and behavioral issues in the school and at home. I work with the family to best understand the client and develop a treatment approach that is tailored to the family's needs. In understanding the client, I look at the family system. In understanding the child's unique immediate environment, I am better suited to make changes that are positive and long lasting. I understand that every child is different and I use the family system as a basis of understanding. I believe that change in therapy is lead by the client and their family. I use a client centered approach to allow my families the ability to lead their therapy and make their needs the focal point. I use my training and skills to facilitate the change the family desires.
