Alcohol and Drug Addiction Treatment At Providence Living Treatment Center, we offer a full array of treatment modalities with a mind, body and spiritual focus. We conduct a thorough and complete assessment with each client, keeping in mind the risks of early recovery. The recommendations made by the clinical team may include services such as: psychological testing, yoga, various types of psychotherapy, medication evaluation and management, and monitoring, which helps form the blueprint for the course of treatment. Each client is encouraged to participate in this process. Our treatment components foster growth in many areas while introducing the client to individual and interpersonal skill building in a real world setting. We incorporate cognitive behavioral therapies, mindfulness-based stress reduction, spiritual growth and insight and promoting healthy living practices. We aim to address the core issues that bring the client to treatment, while creating customized strategies toward attainable success. We facilitate a 12-Step program for living, as well as evidence-based therapies. Our clinical team, combined has over a century of experience with monitoring boards (e.g. Physician Health Programs, Boards of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy, FAA HIMS Program), workplace issues, advocacy, etc. We provide each client with a comprehensive assessment and an individualized care plan, in the most appropriate level of care, which may include: individual, group, couple and family therapies. We also place particular emphasis on spirituality and its role in sustaining recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. Sober Living Program Providence Recovery House is a 10-bed executive, Victorian styled home for men seeking both comfort and support during the early phase of their recovery. We are located in the Western suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. The house is only a 5 minute walk to the commuter train, or a stroll to Downtown Media, PA. The house offers a sober living environment with well thought out elements that assist its residents with an individual recovery plan, as well as peer support. We accept men who are serious about working a program that is sustainable and gets them back on track with their careers, healing family relationships, and attaining personal contentment. Providence House staff treats each resident with respect, courtesy and an understanding of a person in early recovery. The minimum commitment to Providence Living is three (3) months. An extended stay is welcome after discussions with the clinical and house staff. During these three months, the resident attends day work and returns to the residence in the early evening for meditation, dinner and 12-Step meeting. We require each resident to have a temporary sponsor and home group while staying at Providence Recovery House.
