Welcome. I practice from a person-centered and attachment theoretical base with a focus on the ways our lives and self-concepts are influenced by our experiences, past and present, and with a specialty in trauma and attachment, consider myself to be eclectic in my choices of interventions in order to best partner with a wide variety of clients. I work with children ages 14 and up and with adults of all ages in partnership to address issues related to depression, anxiety, grief and loss and whatever obstacles life throws in the way and provide individual, family and group therapy. Having had extensive training in trauma treatment and attachment therapy allows me to assist clients in their efforts to heal and move forward in their lives. Additionally,I work with relational trauma survivors as well as with professionals in the first responder fields including law enforcement and emergency medical response. I believe that our life experience shapes who we are and that as we learn about ourselves, past and present, we develop increased awareness of the interaction between our self-concept and our abilities to lead happy and fulfilled lives and believe therapy can be essential to our personal growth.
