I believe we all have the power to live happy, fulfilling and purpose-driven lives, but along the way we can get tripped up by disappointment, relationships, grief, misconceptions and other circumstances that cause us to forget how special we are. I believe the role of a therapist is to help guide the client with objective and empathetic listening and non-judgmental suggestions. Sometimes you may need a reality check, and other times all you may need is a reinforcing message that you are on the right track with your thoughts, beliefs and actions. My goal is to empower you to solve your own problems; to help you discern what is fact from opinion. Once you look at a situation from different perspectives, it may not seem as insurmoutable. Finding the tools that will work for you is the ultimate goal of my practice. I draw from life experiences and specialized training to relate to and join with my clients where they are at. I am mature but young at heart and I believe that trust is the cornerstone of a therapeutic relationship. Where there is trust, there can be progress.
