I am a Licensed Master Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. I treat children, adolescents and their families. I have over 17 years experience in the mental health field treating a multitude of issues including: anxiety; depression; ADHD; divorce reaction; blended families; trauma: victims of abuse; behavior; grief and loss; parenting; and family discord. I am a strengths-based, solution focused therapist. While I employ a variety of treatment modalities, I most often utilize play and other expressive therapies (art and sand tray) when working with children. These are empirically proven ways to relate to and ultimately help resolve issues common in childhood. Play comes naturally for almost all children and fosters healing. A Registered Play Therapist Supervisor is a credential conferred by the Association for Play Therapy and means that I have had over 150 hours of play therapy specific training and have significant clinical experience utilizing these skills.
