About Bowling Green For over 30 years, Bowling Green has been providing exceptional treatment for men and women, aged 18 and older, who are battling an addiction to drugs and/or alcohol. Signs and Symptoms of Addiction When an individual is trapped in the cycle of substance abuse and addiction, he or she will typically go to great lengths to try and keep his or her use of drugs or alcohol a secret from those around him or her. However, there are some telltale warning signs that may be present that could potentially indicate that someone is struggling with a chemical dependency problem. For example, individuals who have begun to abuse drugs or alcohol often experience changes in their overall demeanor, displaying behavioral changes and responding differently to those around them. These individuals may begin to isolate themselves in an attempt to keep their drug use a secret from those around them or they may suddenly begin to socialize with an entirely new peer group. Additionally, these individuals are likely going to display changes in their physical appearance as weight loss or weight gain may ensure, a lack of hygiene may become prominent, and a general disregard for one's overall appearance may become commonplace. Furthermore, psychological disturbances can arise, including the onset of symptoms synonymous with mental health conditions like depression, anxiety, and paranoia. In order to remain true to this philosophy and provide care for as many individuals are we can, Bowling Green offers 24-hour services that include detoxification, rehabilitation, dual diagnosis, and partial hospitalization programs. Our medically-monitored detoxification services provide individuals with a safe environment where they can become successfully rid of toxic substances prior to engaging in rehabilitation and further therapeutic interventions. Our inpatient rehabilitation services offers treatment for male and female individuals who are in need of comprehensive and integrated care in order to treat substance abuse concerns or dual diagnosis. Our partial hospitalization program is designed for men who are in need of continuing care services. Regardless of which level of care a patient engages in, he or she can rest assured that the staff at Bowling Green will collaborate together to ensure that the most optimal care is received by all.
