I help those who seek direction, balance and healing in life. Children, adults and families struggling in relationships, life decisions, or issues due to grief and loss, anger, and/or victimization. We will journey together through battles with anxiety, depression, anger, hopelessness, confusion, and helplessness. My therapeutic style is a team approach & supportive. A blend of holistic and humanistic philosophy using creative, mindfulness, mind/body, and cognitive behavioral treatment techniques. I work from a practical, here-and-now perspective while attending to the impact that familial, social, and early childhood experiences can have on an individual's current functioning. I have specialized training in play therapy, sandtray therapy, grief and loss, trauma, parenting and family relations. Creative alternatives to 'talk' therapy allows for exploration of uncomfortable experiences in a non-threatening manner. I utilize a highly empathetic approach, always keeping in mind your comfort level & sense of security. My counseling style is faith based, respectful, and compassionate. I provide a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment for you to explore personal issues, dilemmas, and concerns in a professional setting. I offer flexible scheduling hours.
