Childhood can be a time of happiness and joy; it can also be a time of disappointment, confusion and pain. I work with children and families who find that life is tough. I also work with adults who were exposed to trauma as children. I use a variety of mediums when working with clients such as, art therapy, play therapy and talk therapy. I help parents as they are navigating difficult times in their relationship with each other and their children. My role is to come alongside you and try to holistically meet you at your point of need. Children experience and communicate about their world differently than adults. I listen to their experiences and I want them to know I see them as a person with valuable perspectives on their world. I approach adolescents gently as they are learning to navigate the tension between childhood and adulthood. I meet each individual and family at a unique point in their journey. I use a variety of techniques ( art, storytelling, drama, music, etc) to help them find healing. In any relationship the work is finding understanding and creating points of connection and intimacy.
