I am a Chicago trained limited licensed psychologist, practicing privately in the SW Michigan area. My approach to the therapy process is highly collaborative and goal-driven, using compassion as a sound foundation. I am comfortable leading people to their goals by both challenging and empowering them. The process of therapy is a highly personalized journey, and as a result I consider your age, resources, stage of life, background, and other individual components when approaching your concerns. I use the most current, research based therapies available while bearing in mind that a trusting therapeutic relationship is essential to successful outcomes. I have special interest in treating anxiety disorders, life after infidelity, obsessive-complusive disorder, and adjustment disorders. I primarily work with self-referred, motivated young to older adults. I have experience utilizing a multidisciplinary approach, coordinating your care with your physician, psychiatrist, and/or other professionals managing your heath care. I've enjoyed working in community mental health, inpatient hospital, college counseling centers, and currently, private practice.
