I enjoy working with adults who want to overcome difficult or painful life experiences. My specific areas of expertise include eating disorders, grief and loss, relationship issues, anxiety and women's issues. I am a committed Christian with a deep understanding of life issues. My work experience ranges from inpatient psychiatric hospital, private practice and Equine Assisted Therapy. I have been fully Licensed as a Professional Counselor by the State of Michigan since 2004; Certified Supervisor for LLPC interns, member of the American Counseling Association, and Certified Equine Assisted Mental Health Therapist through EAGALA. (please go to EAGALA.org) In my experience with treating clients with Eating Disorders, it has become apparent that including the use of family work along with Equine Assisted therapy promotes healing. I have found that those who are willing to step outside of their comfort zone and try something new are never disappointed. I offer a variety of services including: Equine Assisted Therapy, Groups, Seminars, Family counseling Couples communication, Consultation/Supervision, Support group facilitation, Personalized Corporate & church group retreats Individualized three day intensives, Intensive, out-patient treatment eating disorders.
