It is difficult for children and adolescents to find an environment in which they can openly discuss the struggles that they are enduring. I work to facilitate an environment in which individuals can feel safe, supported, and understood, tailoring the dynamics within each session to meet each individuals unique needs. I then utilize an integrative approach - founded in Evidence Based Therapies - to specifically attend to each individual's needs so that they can most successfully overcome the obstacles that they are facing in their lives. I work with individuals facing a wide range of issues. I have specialized training working with individuals with eating disorders and with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). I additionally work with individuals struggling with anxiety disorders (social anxiety, phobias, generalized anxiety), depression, as well as various other developmental issues. After attaining my Bachelors of Education, I completed both Masters and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology - specializing in work with children and adolescents. I truly enjoy working with this population, and helping each individual realize that, together, we can overcome the obstacles theyre facing - and that there truly is hope.
