My approach begins right where you are and uses your life experience as an asset to be leveraged in the healing process. I see my role as a facilitator of your own personal discovery and empowerment. Each of us is an authentic work of art, shaped and molded by our experiences, both good and bad. My treatment philosophy includes counseling each and every client as an individual, with care and without judgment. I work with the biological, psychological, social and spiritual elements presented and design treatment solutions with you and for you within a framework of hope. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist, I am also an Approved EMDR Consultant and a Certified Advanced Addiction Counselor (CAADC) in the State of Michigan. I have worked in both in-patient and out-patient mental health settings. I am an owner-practicioner at Claystone Clinical Associates, which is a multi-disciplinary practice that specializes in the psychological care of individuals throughout the life spans. We strive to offer the highest quality of care to our clients, using established and innovative treatment approaches.
